LogMeIn Arrives for the Apple Mac

logmein_logoI have been using LogMeIn since it hit the market on Windows PC’s and had fantastic results. The software is easy and quick to install without needing to be a computer genius. Within minutes, you can remote control any PC from a browser on any computer anywhere! The only problem was, I had to use an alternate means to control my Macs. Well, no longer! LogMeIn for the Mac is here!

Simply go to the LogMeIn website and create an account for yourself. Be sure to create a STRONG password (letters, numbers, mixed case) to ensure the security of your system. After your account is created, you’ll be sent an email to verify your account. Once that is done, just log in to LogMeIn from the computer you want to control and click “Add Computer.” The installation disk image will download to your Mac. Open the image and click on the installation package. In a minute or two, you are up and running. No fuss, no muss, no geeks required.

Give it a try! I think you’ll agree with me that this is the best thing to come along for the Mac since… well… OS X! And did I mention it is FREE? Yes, FREE! There are advanced features that you can use for a nominal annual fee, but most folks will get more than enough for their needs with the free package.

How do they do that? I don’t know, and I’m not asking. I’m just happy it’s there for as long as they can make it available. Trust me, once you start using it, you won’t mind paying $70/year for it if you have to. It’s that good.
